This happened on Monday along Ibadan - Oyo road when some students and staff of the department of Quantity Surveying, Polytechnic Ibadan were travelling for official duty. The front tyre of 18-seater bus conveying them burst and the bus somersaulted, killing 6 of the occupants on the spot. Those who survived are currently receiving treatment in hospitals.
The other happened on Tuesday along Ikom - Okoja road when the car collided with a truck of a bottling company. Four Revrend Sisters are reported killed in the accident.
